Lil Bee's "Glam it Up" kit: Perfect Pearls!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Today we are focusing on Perfect Pearls , Perfect Medium pen and Ranger Mister.

Specially developed with a built-in resin, Perfect Pearls™ Pigments are easy to use wet or dry. Mix with watercolors, inks, acrylic paints, Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel™,embossing powders and other mediums for radiant results!
Perfect Medium Pens work great with Perfect Pearls pigments , also as a resist ink, embossing ink and watermark, too!
Mini misters  are portable spray bottles. Perfect to use with water or your favorite craft mediums for interesting techniques.

Perfect pearls+mini misters:This is a fun one,i started loving misting after i tried it with perfect pearls. To make the mist, you have to pour 2-3 pinches of perfect pearls into the mini mister spray bottle and add few drops of distress re-inkers(since i dont have re-inkers i have used photo colors, you can mix any water based medium with perfect pearls-this gives endless possibilities)and fill the rest of the bottle(upto 3/4th of the bottle)with water and mix it well.I took a white tag and  covered the whole tag with blue n orange mists.Once it completely dries(love the sheen that perfect pearls gives)i have embossed them using cuttlebug folders and used some tea dye distress inks to the corner. Then embellished it with some die cuts.  Perfect pearls+medium brush:Perfect medium brush is ideal for giving some fine details,or making free hand designs or your own handwritten sentiments. The back ground of the tag is again made with distress inks and i have just made some random dot patterns using perfect medium brush and dabbed some perfect pearl powder over it with a small brush.Once the tag is completely finished, using a wider brush i removed all the excess powder on the tag. This method looks good only on darker backgrounds as these are metallic shades.  Perfect pearl painting: Again as  i said perfect pearls goes very well with any water based mediums, for the orange flower in this tag i mixed little bit of perfect pearl powder with photo colors and painted it.For the pink flowers i mixed the perfect pearls with acrylic colors and painted the flower. You can very well see the difference, the powder mixed with photo colors gives a transparent finish where as the acrylic colors gives opaque finish. Hope you enjoyed today's inspiration, we will be back tomorrow with our last item in the kit and the winner of the kit,so don't forget to comment :)
